Dick Hester

Dick Hester has been a resident of North Myrtle Beach since 1956. He served as Mayor of City of North Myrtle Beach from 1984-1988 and has had a vision for an area museum. In 2005 he began his vision of a local museum, and in 2013 the North Myrtle Beach Area Historical Museum opened its doors to the public. Without Dick Hester’s vision and dream, this Museum would not be in existence.
